Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is probably my favorite spot in Colorado.  Surprisingly, with as many times as my sister has been here to visit, I’ve never taken her there!  So, for this visit, a trip to RMNP was a must!  We had originally planned on doing a short hike, but the Bear Lake area I had picked out was undergoing major road construction, so getting there was a real bear.  (Ha ha!  Get it?  A real BEAR.  Bear Lake.)  So we decided to skip the hike and just drive through the park, stopping to enjoy the views when we wanted and later putting the boys in a Junior Ranger class.  It was a fun, but EXHAUSTING day!
